Every plant already has the data. Doing anything useful with it still meant a thick client that looked like it was written in 2004, and nothing you could hand to a quality manager.

Jacob has spent five years building industrial software and kept meeting the same thing: plants running systems written decades ago, with nothing newer available. He founded Opcela to build the alternative. He has a first-class honours degree in software engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, and works across the entire lifecycle, from the initial conversation to a deployed and maintained system.
